What’s going on Daily Chores readers!

My apologies for the late newsletter. Been a busy month. 



We started this month by moving our meat chickens out to pasture. That was an eventful day but thankfully I had farmer Ky to lend a hand. She’s quite preoccupied with the little one these days but back when I was doing pools Kyra was the full time farmer and kept this thing going for years so she’s the best chicken wrangler we got. 



The meat chickens have definitely doubled chore time and moving them first thing in the morning is some good exercise but it’s a great way to start the day. They are pretty dang big now and we’ll take them to get processed on June 12th so we will have some chicken boxes to sell here pretty soon! 



This month we had two successful egg drops (Every Other Friday). Egg club has been awesome. We currently have just about all the eggs these ladies lay in a two week period already sold so it is time to scale our egg production. It will be in the June newsletter but little heads up we might have had 250 layer chicks arrive this morning so stay tuned for that. 



Also created our first merch drop! Kyra is a very creative woman and made some really great hats and t shirts. We might have posted about them too soon because the delivery keeps getting pushed back which is unfortunate but what can you do. Will get them out when we can!
