March 2026
Hello, Daily Chores readers!
Wick here. It’s been about a year since the last newsletter was released. A lot has happened since then! Wanted to fill in the gap and also project the vision for our future.
The most important event over this past year is the birth of our baby boy! Kyra is a badass and an amazing mother. He’s still figuring out how to crawl so not helping out with farm chores just yet but we’ll get there one day.
Aside from that, I have spent the last few years cleaning pools. Originally the plan was to clean pools and also build the farm. Pretty quickly realized that was a terrible plan. 10 pools a day is a lot of work and there was just nothing left in the tank at the end of my days and just not enough time on the weekends to build anything meaningful. But God is good and provided a way for me to move on from the pools and for the last two weeks I have been full time here at the farm.
So that brings us to today! For the first time we have nothing but the farm. This has been a dream of ours since before we were married and we are so grateful and fortunate to have the opportunity that we do. We are so passionate about raising the healthiest food we can while also taking care of this beautiful land.
We plan to sell eggs, chicken, and potentially pork this year. Beef and other products down the road. Our first egg drop in Arlington was great and we hope to expand to Fort Worth and Dallas once we get more chickens laying more eggs so stay tuned.
Thank you for taking the time to follow along and support. We will be documenting a lot more consistently as we grow our business. Our goal is to be transparent and show people exactly where their food comes from and how it was produced. We really appreciate your time and we look forward to providing you with the cleanest food we can!
Until next time,
Wick
